Join us at 6:00 pm and have dinner alongside members. The meeting with the guest speaker of the month starts at 7:00 pm.

Special Guest Speaker of the Month
Kevin Zanjani, KI6DHQ, is our October, 2026 speaker.
Kevin is the National Sales Manager for Bioenno. He has worked in the technology industry for 23+ years including RFID for automotive industry, software, and renewable energy including batteries. Bioenno Power attends all the various hamfests across the country with products available through all national dealers. Kevin holds a B.S. Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; M.S. Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine; and M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
Kristi Hofstetter Batiste, is our November, 2026 speaker.
Kristi brings more than two decades of experience spanning private industry, nonprofit leadership, education, and public service. Throughout her career, one constant has remained: a deep commitment to supporting at-risk, vulnerable, and traumatized individuals. She believes that building a more resilient Fullerton begins with preparing residents, businesses, and neighborhoods before disaster strikes and ensuring the community is equipped to recover together.
Kristi joined the Fullerton Fire Department in December 2020 after working in Emergency Management with the Irvine Police Department. As the City of Fullerton’s Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, she leads initiatives focused on prevention, preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery while strengthening partnerships that enhance community resilience. She develops and delivers emergency preparedness programs for residents of all ages and trains probation officers throughout California on resiliency, crisis response, and emotional first aid.
For more than a decade, Kristi worked alongside law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical personnel, providing immediate emotional and practical support to individuals and families impacted by traumatic events. As a leader with the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) and the Crisis Response Network; Orange County Department of Education, she managed and mentored more than 100 volunteers, helping ensure survivors received compassionate care during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Kristi holds a Master of Science in Emergency Services and a Master of Arts in Multicultural Education. In recognition of her commitment to public safety and community service, she was honored as the 2025 Woman of Distinction for Public Safety by California State Senator Tom Umberg.
A third-generation Orange County resident, Kristi is married and the proud mother of two active teenagers, ages 15 and 18. When she isn’t working to make her community more prepared, she enjoys urban farming, SCUBA diving, surfing, and spending time at the beach. She is also a dedicated supporter of The First Tee of Orange County and enjoys life at home with her three dogs—Truman and Wink, her Sheepadoodles, and Charlie, her Whoodle.
